McCain's Energy Policy

For many years as a child I spent weekends on my Dad's small sailboat at the Swan Yacht Club that just happens to be located in the shadow of the Fermi Two cooling towers.

Lake Erie could be a beautiful place if you could just imagine that a nuclear power facility was not right across the shallow creek.

The joke at the time was that the plant was running on diesel instead of fissile material because it was so often shut down.

And everyone there knew the story of Fermi One, which had a partial meltdown.

I am all for a comprehensive solution to the energy problem, I just think that wind and solar are far safer options.

Oh yeah, why not end those billions in tax breaks for big oil?

Oops forgot, they gave McCain millions in donations.
